John Eric Vona is a writer and educator living in Tampa, FL. Passionate about conservation and sustainability, he joined the STLB project so that he could find ways to bring place-centered writing into his work as a high school AP Capstone Seminar and Creative Writing instructor. He is proud to be the advisor to The Echo: Teen Art & Lit Mag, which publishes the work of artists and writers from around the world aged 13-19.
